For most people with a felony conviction, especially those who have never been to school, the best options for obtaining grants will come by way of community college grants. If you have an interest in attending a four-year university, even a community college can provide the basic courses you need to transfer to a larger university and, with the community college, you can apply for beauty school grants, state grants, and even qualify for youth sports grants if you are under the age of 20 and are pursuing a degree in fitness or other sports activity.
