If you are looking for grants for felons, and if you live in the state of Kentucky, then you may want to ask your financial aid office if you qualify for the Go Higher Grant. To obtain this type of grant for school, you do have to demonstrate financial need, and be over the age of 24 taking less than 6 hours of classes. If you meet these qualifications, you may qualify for this type of state grant for school. Even if you are not in Kentucky, if you have a felony conviction and want to attent school, many schools have information on your state’s higher education grants. The key to qualifying for these grants will come by first completing a FASFA and then asking as many financial aid offices neglect to tell part time students what financial aid they qualify for. College grants for felons can be found through a number of resources.   For most convicted felons, there is a greater opportunity to find quality employment if you have a college education.  School tuition for felons can, obviously, come from private scholarships but most felons will benefit from college grants for felons.   If you are concerned about your school tuition and how you will pay for college, it is important to remember that grants will typically be your greatest resource of funding when going to school.  For many convicted felons, the best jobs for convicted felons will come by using your education and getting as few school loans and other college funding that requires repayment.
